Ella Ion + Charlie Ivan Band — The Scenic Hotel, Norton Summit, 7pm

This Saturday evening, The Scenic Hotel in Norton Summit plays host to the final show of Ella Ion's 'Of Nothing' single tour, with support from the Charlie Ivan Band. The Scenic is one of those rare pubs that earns its reputation — proper country pub atmosphere, good food and cold beer, nestled in the hills above Adelaide. Stirling Market — Druid Avenue, Stirling, 10am–4pm (FREE)

The Stirling Market is one of South Australia's most beloved street markets, running on the fourth Sunday of every month along Druid Avenue in the heart of Stirling village. Browse fresh produce, artisan chocolates, art, jewellery, plants, fashion, second-hand books and so much more — all while live music floats through the laneways. All of August — SALA Festival in the Hills

The South Australian Living Artists Festival (SALA) runs throughout August, and the Adelaide Hills is one of the richest regions in the state for it. More than 30 venues across the Hills are hosting exhibitions this month — art appearing in cafes, pubs, wineries, schools, community centres and open studios.
